Location: Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, Florida
This wedding was very unique in one big way…RAIN! We drove down to Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine from Jacksonville and by the time we arrived at the park, it was POURING! We sat there in the truck for a bit and then Heaven’s mom came over and asked if we were ready. We told her even though we have professional camera equipment, that we didn’t want to risk getting it soaked and we didn’t have an umbrella. Well, she said that she had a LARGE umbrella we could use and we both said we will give it a try. When she came back, that umbrella was HUGE! You could have almost covered the entire truck with this thing! Well, normally we shoot with 3-4 cameras simultaneously but we didn’t want to take a chance on getting them soaked, so we both agreed to choose ONE camera with ONE lens. The 70-200mm f/2.8 II was the choice and we shot the entire wedding with one camera and Lorraine was holding the umbrella the entire time. In the end, the rain couldn’t stop us and we really enjoyed photographing this wedding! The photos turned out great and we were really please at what we were able to capture.
