St. Augustine is always a great place to take photos and we love doing engagement as well as wedding photography down there. We recently meet Kerry and Chris near the fort so we could start their engagement session. After about 20 minutes, a park ranger showed up and said we had to have a permit to shoot on the fort grounds if we were using any tripods, light stands, off camera light modifiers, etc. She said it was $169.00 for the day for a permit….wow!! Guess what? We left!
Anyway, we found some other great locations in St. Augustine and there was actually a wedding going on at the Lightner Museum when we walked by. The bride was standing outside with her father and we didn’t see any photographers whatsoever. It was so tempting to run up there and snap a few quick shots 🙂 We just smiled, waved, and kept on walking to our next destination. Kerry and Chris are a great couple and we cannot wait to photography their upcoming wedding!
